The sequel is just as great as the first one in the series. I didn't comment this on the first one but I love these characters and how we get to continue with them in this sequel. I love how thoroughly they are written and I just don't know how Mr. Allen keeps all the characters straight because each of them are detailed and amazing. I feel Drake is more prominent in this story and he does it well. I love how connected I feel to these characters. I hurt when they hurt and get mad when they get mad. Especially when wizards are being killed and dragonlings, like Drake, are being abducted. That's enough to keep me interested. Thanks Mr. Allen for another great book in the #bittergate series and I can't wait for book #3!
