Tears of Salvation

Tears of Salvation was the last book of this series that I needed to read. I have been working my way through this author backlist and really loving it so far. I wouldn't say that this is my favorite of the series, these types of heroines, just don't work too well for me and I definitely have to be in a right kind of mood for them. But I deeply appreciated what was delivered on this one here. I also really couldn't get enough of what we see in this one. I absolutely loved the hero. He was so yummy and protective and such a badass you can't help but love him. He is so loyal to those that he calls family and we really see the goodness that he keeps locked away. Then we have our heroine, who is fighting from within. Her mother is truly evil and so to live around such a snake she really has had to create two identities. I love that she rescues young girls that have been kidnapped and being sold into sex slavery and the human trafficking rings. And I LOVE that Michelle Heard wrote a story focused on this. We definitely need more books that are willing to showcase these atrocities and they are NOT rare cases, its much more common than most ppl believe.

The romance was really interesting because we have a blend of Amensia, Marriage of Convenience and Enemies to Lover HAHAHA what a mix right? And Michelle Heard actually handles most of these tropes fairly well. The only aspect I wasn't a huge fan of was the heroine's reaction to the hero when she remembers everything. Like I get it, she is mad....but killing him type of mad yeah I didn't understand how you can go from loving someone to being so hateful so quickly. But its part of the story so I just went with it, I do wish that this portion of the story had been better handled.

Overall though I had a solid good time with Tears of Salvation and definitely eager to see what else this author has crafter.

Last book in St. monarch academy series, read this after captured by a sinner ( last book in sinners series). If I thought captured by a sinner was amazing and this is super amazing! I really loved the balance in this book between showing how cruel and horrible flesh trading is and the development of relationship between the lead couple. I love how much moments of friendship we saw between Alexis and Demitri & between Isabella and Ana. Its a great read!!

I was NOT expecting this book to be such a masterpiece of mafia romance.

FMC IS A BAD*SS LATINA WHO DOESN'T TAKE ANY CRAP FROM ANYONEEEEE. 

MMC JUST WANTS TO SUPPORT HER AND BE BY HER SIDE.

I love the twists, lies, plot devices, side characters, and pretty much everything in this book.

The writing style is *chef's kiss.*

This is my favourite Underworld Kings book so far. 

MICHELLE, MISS MA'AM, YOU ARE SO FREAKING AMAZING.
