Everyone were suffering in this book and so was I listening to it. First I wanna say that the narrator was amazing. He did a great fucking job, his voice sounded nice even on 1.8x speed. 

But the book itself, Jesus Christ... The writing was fine, but the plot was boring, slice-of-life boring, characters were awful, I didn't like any of them and that definitely didn't add to my enjoyment. I get the main point of the book, I get the reason it was written. But goddammit, if I knew it was like this and if I didn't have to read it for class, I don't think I'd waste my time with it.
