At every turn there are jealous ass bitches and a crazy ass father still on the loose and another puzzle piece has been added to things. 

I look forward to reading the final installment. 

Completely enraptured by this series even though I should be sick of tales of damaged uber hot billionaires --- so not.

I thought about what a beautiful thing his heart was, to always see the good around the mess that it was buried in.

If you've already read In Flight the first novel in this trilogy then you already know the back story of this series. I absolutely adored the first book, so I was a little scared to how Mile High would compare. While I don't think Mile High was an all around better book, I do think it was better in some in some aspects. This series is amazing so far, and I'm so happy I decided to give them a chance!

Bianca is trying to avoid James at all costs. For however long she can. After having her heart broken by him, she's trying to collect her thoughts and start over by pulling herself together. Being around James is scary for Bianca, for he pulls down the barriers that have been lodged around her heart her whole life. She's afraid to feel what she feels for him, for it's stronger than anything she's ever felt before. She also struggles with trying to believe James about the feelings he has for her. She knows his reputation, his past...can she ever truly believe him? Or is his past just too sordid?


  
    “You’re my angel, Bianca. You've exorcised my demons. I don’t have nightmares when I’m with you. I don’t have to work seventy hour work weeks to keep my mind distracted. My life has become more than work and emotionless affairs. You make me a better man.”
  


Bianca tries to stay away from James but the magnectic pull that he has on her forces them together once more, a month after their break from each-other... 



James Cavendish is madly in love with Bianca. You can just feel it, the things he that he says and does for her. He's got his work cut out for him though, trying to convince Bianca that he's a changed man; that his past is his past, and that Bianca is his future. 


  
    “You make me so happy, Bianca. I never knew life could be this good. I’ve been alone for so long, since my parents died, really. But I don’t feel alone with you. I feel like I have a family and a home again. You’re my home. All of the dark shadows seem to disappear when we’re together.”
  


Sigh, I LOVE James Cavendish. He was all the more swoon worthy in this installment. Can I just say ahead of time, right now, that anyone who got those tattoos for me, I'd be marrying in a second. That was the sweetest thing ever, and I probably had a grin on my face for 20 minutes after reading that scene. It was epic!



In short, this book was pretty much about Bianca and James working past their issues from the past and present and trying to overcome them. All they need to do is open their hearts to their love for each-other, but sometimes outside forces try to destroy their broken love. I ABSOLUTELY HATED THAT BATHROOM SCENE!!!! UGH.

The only complaints that I have are Bianca, for I found her to be annoying for most of the book, and James' past. Why aren't we delving more into it? He doesn't seem to have any problems from his horribly tragic past, and I just wish it was brought up more. However, overall, I loved this installment and I can't wait to continue on with Grounded. I think the final installment is going to be the best yet, and I can't wait to read more of my swoon-worthy James "Mr. Beautifully Tattooed" Cavendish!
