I'm addicted to Caitlin Moran's writing and I found this book just as unputdownable as its predecessor How To Be A Woman. I reserve my final star because—where Caitlin's first book was revolutionary in terms of British feminism—this one at times feels more like a regular woman trying to argue that every single thing she does is feminism, which smells a little bit of choice feminism to me. Many of the things Caitlin Moran does are indeed very feminist, but when it comes to things like PIV POV sex and botox, I'd prefer more of an honest, "I'm a feminist, but..." approach. It struck me as disingenuous and counter-productive to argue that those things are feminist, although she does argue admirably well. Criticism aside, this book is addictive, funny, clever and makes looooads of very interesting observations about gender and womanhood. I encourage you to read it.
