I had a power outage all of today, which is always a great excuse to spend the day doing nothing but reading haha! Which is exactly what I did and I decided with the Veronica Mars revival coming up sometime in 2019 that a reread of this book was definitely in order (but a rewatch of the entire series + movie is also a must because there is really no such thing as too much Veronica Mars). I think if you are a fan of the tv show this is one book you won't regret picking up. The noir vibes, the sassy/ witty comments, mystery, all the beloved characters, and also a beautiful glimpse in Logan & Veronica's life. I enjoyed the reread almost as much as the first time I read it and can't wait to see where the revival goes from here (just don't fuck with LoVe). If you don't feel like watching tv but still want to feel some VM vibes these books deliver!

Ahhh, how I miss Veronica Mars. I am so happy that they are doing these books now. Book 2 expands on the events from both the movie and book from last year. Of course, all your favorites are back, especially Logan. I love the character development they have given him, and he explains how and why he chose his path in the Navy in this story, a huge plus. The mystery is excellent, the subplots interesting, new and old characters shine, and at long last, Veronica gets her Pony. (hee hee). I look forward to the next adventure.

This book was everything I had been hoping for since I finished book one. More LoVe, more Weevil and V kicking several asses both with humor and physically - due to a very close to home subject - and  so many  season one and two little throwbacks. 
We  are  getting more, right?  Right?  I NEED MORE.

Like the previous book, this helps tremendously in filling in questions I had when watching the reboot mini-series. Consistent to the V Mars brand and world view, this is a well-written and well voiced mystery (even if K Bell doesn’t read this one).

A lot of lovely LoVe scenes & Leooooo! VM always gives me those fuzzy nostalgic feels even when the subject matter is as gruesome as raped & killed call girls.

Going back into the world of Veronica Mars is always an enjoyable experience. Mr. Kiss and Tell follows the story of Veronica Mars after The Thousand Dollar Tan Line. Some of the story lines from the recent movie are also addressed. I was really glad to see Logan back in Veronica's life. We learn more about what happened to Logan after Veronica left Neptune and went off to college, including why he joined the Navy. Keith is still investigating Sheriff Lamb, this time with the purpose of a lawsuit being brought by Eli/Weevil for wrongful arrest. In addition, there is now a woman from Keith's past running against Lamb for the job of sheriff. Veronica's mystery involves the beating and rape of a young woman. The case becomes muddied when the victim is revealed to be a prostitute, but this does not deter Veronica. The core characters remain the same and their stories continue to build. Veronica's voice and sense of humor come through loud and clear in this story. I hope there will be another installment of this wonderful series.

I am a fan of the tv series, the movie and the first book so I just couldn't wait to read this one when I received it to review. 

I am so happy I got to read this one and I just added it to my books to buy next year. It is very well written and ofcourse I could very well imagine the characters and everything. It kinda goes in my mind exactly like it is a movie and actually I ended up dreaming about this book last night. 

If you are a Veronica Mars fan , I highly recommend this book. First make sure you read the first book before this one .

The best things about the Veronica Mars novels is that they absolutely nail Veronica's narration (and manage to transpose it effectively from the television show), and that each book so far has provided actual character development and updates to stories that originated in the television format. Those two achievements put the series head and shoulders above most TV show novelizations, and Thomas and co-author Jennifer Graham deserve major kudos. I'm sorry that the VM film didn't rake in enough $$$ to make sequels likely, but if the series continues like this in book form, I'll be perfectly satisfied.

The main mystery plot, while not super-twisty, is perfectly solid, and provides opportunities for readers to see Veronica and Mac working their normal methods, with successes, misfires, and occasionally awkward moments, with cameos from Leo and Wallace, among others. A secondary plot involving Weevil is also well-done -- and the results startled me, but in the end, didn't surprise me. I found Weevil's choice believable, and satisfying in that it takes his character in a new direction for future books.

Alongside the main plot, several threads for future investigations are being set up, and I am looking forward to seeing where they go.

I'm giving this volume 5 stars because I think that it's exactly what a novel adaptation of VM ought to look like. Can't wait for the next one!
