Oh my gosh this book! I absolutely could not put it down, and I'm eagerly awaiting the days until I get book 2! 
Rylee comes from a rich family. She's got a seemingly perfect life. But her boyfriend is abusive, and neither he or her controlling mother want to believe that she's done with him. She's determined to get away from him, and live the life she wants. 
August has just come home from prison, after taking the fall for something he didn't do. He's always lived a rough life. Alcoholic, absent mother. Used by the local drug lord from a young age. But August has a good heart, and is ready to start over and live a quiet life. 
Their paths cross, and each of their worlds is shaken up. August is convinced he's not good enough for Rylee. She's convinced he's the best she's ever had. He's trying to fight it, but neither of them can deny the heat between them. 

This is a hot and enthralling opposites attract, hate to love story. The ex con and the rich good girl. And wow. It hooked me so quickly! I loved both August and Rylee. The tension and banter are so good. And the feelings too! And I loved the side characters. There's a lot going on in this book, and it's all good! I want more of August and Rylee's backstories, but overall you get a very good sense of them and who they are. I can't wait to see where their story goes!
