Plot: 3/5
Okay, so there was a plot here. It just… I don’t know, I just guess I feel it could’ve been more immediate.
What am I saying? People died. God, Monica. Insensitive. 
And, okay, I guess the whole ‘people=are-dying’ thing was immediate. But I also felt the plot was more centered on the secrets. And the answers to those secrets weren’t very impactful, if you ask me.
There was only one thing that made me really excited:
(view spoiler)[when youwe found out Tod and Nash were brothers. I was thinking this whole time they been BFF’s (boy-style) before Tod died, but no, they were brothers. THAT made me get excited. (hide spoiler)]

Characters: 3/5
I don’t really feel we got to know any of the characters very well. 
Nash: This is our main boy toy. He just randomly shows up within the first three pages and comes to the rescue. Later, though, there is an explanation as to why he randomly showed up, which I appreciate. I appreciate reasons. 
Kaylee: I never really felt attached to her in any way.
Emma: I wish we’d seen more of Emma. I really appreciate supporting characters. I often like supporting characters MORE than the Main Characters.
Tod: I REALLY liked Tod.

Romance: 2/5
As I didn’t really feel very invested in our two MC’s I wasn’t really invested in the romance either. As I said, though, there was a reason, which I did appreciate.

Other comments: I feel that if there had been a cliffhanger, I would continue reading the series, simply because that it is what I do. But since there was no cliffhanger, I have no motivation to continue the series.

Overall grade: 8/15

Wow! I just reread this book and let me tell you, it is so amazing!!
Since it is the first book of the series, Kaylee has premonitions about people that are soon going to die and she finds out why it happens. She thinks Her legal guardians (uncle and aunt) think that she is crazy and since she doesnt want to go to the psycho place again, she tries her best to get away from the cause of the problem for her not scream. On the romantic side,
this HOT POPULAR GUY from school suddenly talks to her one night when she went to the bar with her best friend and they suddenly have a connection!
woaah!! hmmm, interesting! This book has so many unexpected suprises that it just leaves me shocked and demanding more!!
Who would have thought she was not a human?!? 0.o
 I am going to give this series a Go to keep reading the sequel.

It was an ok book. One that when you read it you didn't feel like you were choking it down to get it over with. But this is one that I wouldn't read over again. It was too slow.

I just finished this book this morning and I really want to read it again. It is so different to the other books that I have read in the past, for one banshee's are not too popular in the world of books and I loved how Rachel Vincent used that to her advantage. The storyline is unique with banshee, reapers and humans all mixed up in one. I cannot wait to read the next book.

Ugh...I hate to do this.

Despite the high ratings, I just couldn't get into this book. I found it very slow paced and uneventful overall. The idea of a banshee character was unique but not exciting enough to keep me reading.

I gave it a good try....read the first 100 pages...but I just couldn't go any further.
