I wasn't really sure where the author was going with this but at about the halfway point it really kicked in.

For some reason the story and the protagonist's struggles conjured up memories of high school.

Good one-day read. Something I would recommend to a non-horror fan maybe to get into horror.

such a fun and entertaining read, though i did feel the humor took away from the more grotesque/serious scenes at times. 

i did almost dnf bc of my trypophobia (literally like 1-3 sentences) but i powered through and im glad i did LOL
