Just from reading the back cover of this book, it didn't take long for me to decide that it was coming home with me. Much to my appreciation, this book is fast-paced, quick and an easy read. However, this is not a book I would recommend. Overall, in its entirety, I wasn’t able to be wrapped up in another world like I am with other books I’ve read. The conclusion to this book and the revealing of the antagonist just didn’t do it for me. I’m disappointed.

It was a good story though I found it hard to bond with the characters. 

This is my second book of Natasha Preston’s and I’ve enjoyed them both.

If anyone is a fan of endings that aren’t particularly happy, read any of her books.

I enjoyed this book, it was the first I have read by Natasha Preston. I felt the pacing was pretty good, liked a decent chunk of the characters, and did it's job well of being very suspenseful. :)
