Just finished this series (season). This is book #63 of my 160 book reading goal. Honestly, not sure I’m going to reach that goal by the end of the year lol.

Just like I said before, I judge a book by its cover, but I also judge a book by its title. I almost ALMOST didn't read this book, and that would have been a tragedy lol. This is the second series I have read from Nikki, and I am addicted to her writing.

This book has everything and I mean everything I love in a book. This isn't your average vampire book, it is so much more! Jessie lives in the town of Midnight, which is a paranormal town. There are witches, vampires, wolf shifters, Fae, and of course humans. On each person's 21st birthday, they have to pledge to one of the houses. Jessie thought she would leave Midnight behind before her 21st, but her hot neighbor has thrown a wrench in her plans. Jessie won't be leaving Midnight at all.

This book is fast-paced, action-packed, and filled with plenty of spicy scenes *fans self*. I am not sure when the next season (yes, season. it's a Kindle Vella) will be released, but I will impatiently wait. I binged the shit out of this book, and I am regretting it now lol. I am not known for my patience. If you're looking for your next vampire read you found it!

When I picked this book up I didn’t realize it was part of the new amazon thingy, don’t really remember what it was called but from what I read of the first few chapters it had immediately pulled me into the story.
