The most troublesome part of this book is how it's set in England but nothing feels particular English about the characters or the settings. It would be better set in a completely imaginary place with a similar but entirely fictional history.

this book is the actual meaning of winter cozy mystery! I loved every second of it! I picked it up for a fall read my last fall read of the year but it turn out to be the WINTER AND CHRISTMAS vides I needed and wanted! great for a cup of coffee and some candy or cookies
