Another great October daye book! 
October has to save the kids of Dianda Lorden who is the ruler of the Undersea.. Someone on land has kidnapped them. October needs to find them in order to stop undersea from declaring war on the land.. 
October has also become a knight, and now has Quinten as her squire.. 
This one has a lot of action. We encounter Raselyn again. She has been pulling some crazy stuff.. 
And on top of all that towards the end October's daughter Gillian has been kidnapped..
I loved this one. And can't wait to continue my reread..

This book was amazing!! I was happy, sad, mad. I think I went through every emotion while reading this book. I loved it!!

Things are going great for Toby. She's spending a lot of time with Connor, training with Sylvester, and just hanging out at home or at Goldengreen. Things can't continue to go well, this is October Daye we're talking about.
The sons of the Duchess of Saltmist have been kidnapped. Toby has a couple of days to find them and bring them home or Undersea will declare war . Toby knows there is no way they can defeat all of Undersea. They don't have the numbers or the training. It would be a slaughter. 
Toby must get over her fear of the water and find the kidnapper and stop this war. She can't bear to lose anyone else.

It's been awhile since I've read one of these books. I don't know why I take a break in between, because they are soooo good! This remains one of my all time favorite series of all time.

I had a lot of fun reading this. Toby is much more interesting and the world is evolving. My only issue is that almost every bit plot point I see coming from a mile away. I have fun, but never think it's amazing

I liked this book better than the last 3-4 because we get to explore a little more the world of the Fae. We see the mermaids, even though we learn very little about them and only for a couple of chapters and we visit another kingdom. What I don't like is the pacing of the series not only the book. And once again the story is kind of boring...
