I love Jewel E Ann's books ever since reading Undeniable You. She is an author I always look forward to reading more. I'm so happy we got Lake & Cage's story, it was beyond what I was expecting! Lake is such a refreshing character. I can't say I've ever read pov quite like hers, I love how she doesn't let her disability stop her from living life to the fullest. Not to mention, she has the most amazing off beat sense of humor and a vulnerability inside that makes her completely endearing. 

Cage has grown up so much from when he was first introduced at the beginning of the Jack & Jill series. I always liked him as a character but in this book, I fell completely in love with him. Jewel E Ann has created yet another book boyfriend to add to my ever growing list. The last time Lake met Cage he was dealing with a life altering loss, and she had not only lost her boyfriend, but her leg in a car accident and was still processing this new life she was living. Despite that, when these two first met their chemistry was off the charts and they share this perfect little moment that neither of them forgot over the years. I always hoped somehow under different circumstances they would run into each other and pursue some kind of relationship. So, of course, I was beyond excited when I realized that this book was about exactly that! 

This was the perfect book for me to pick up after been extremely disappointed in a recent series. Reading this book was like a breath of fresh air. LOVED IT! It made me ridiculously happy and It kept me laughing throughout (I bookmarked practically a new line every chapter). There was also a lot of depth to Lake & Cage's relationship and while they both had their flaws and past scars they grew from them together. I absolutely loved this book, it pull me in and didn't let go. I fell hard for the beautiful/unique couple that is Lake & Cage. Highly recommend this book to anyone but for those who like a full picture, please read the Jack & Jill series first, you won't regret it!

This book is so perfect and sweet and inspiring. I don’t know how JEA can continuously write such good stories that are still wholly unique. I discovered her a couple of months ago and have since read almost all of her novels and every one of them has been 4 star or more reads.

This book is high on my list of favorites now. Definitely read the Jack & Jill series before this, as its story plays a huge huge part in Lake & Cage’s story (they first meet in it). Jack & Jill is very different from this one but once you sink into the story and things come together you’ll be just as addicted and obsessed (probably for Dr. Jones) as I was.
