Part 1 of this block studies Kinematics - the study of motion without regard to how the motion is created. You will learn to use a full vocabulary of motion through studying models of linear, circular and oscillatory motion. In part 2 of this block you will apply the analysis of motion to solve engineering problems, through a wide variety of examples drawn from the real world and will examine the forces that oppose motion.
