i personally believe ovid should never have been allowed to write about women, every other page (every single page more like) had me wanting to weep at what the women went through at the hands of men. 

i had read this before and am familiar with most of the stories and could easily recite them to others however ask me to summarise this book and i'd be at loss for words because so many stories just happened and kept happening.
