Strangely this reminded me so much of Piccadilly Jim; Jim being the better book of the two of course, with its brilliant characters and the Wodehouse humor. But this is not a bad read at all. Full of satire and the trademark puns on the idiocy of human nature. And the detective story writer in this book! ha!
