It includes 22 selected wireless essays of Donald Trefusis, the aging professor of philosophy brought to life in Fry's novel The Liar, and the best of Fry's weekly column for the Daily Telegraph. The book also includes the script of a play, Latin! (or Tobacco and Boys.), an early work by Fry set in a public school, which won the "Fringe First" prize at the Edinburgh Festival in 1980.
