I usually love short story collections, but so many of these just made absolutely no sense. And honestly, I am not a fan of books like that. Don’t make me think hard about what something is supposed to mean. I’m reading these for fun, not for deep thinking and thorough analysis. It just dragged on and on and I had no motivation to finish until I sat down and forced myself through it.

Holy shit. That was fantastic.

My favorites were the one about the handbag and the one about the surfer and the aliens.

But. Wow. A+ for narrative style. A+ for general goodness of writing.
