Q.B. Tyler sure knows how to write steamy taboo romances.

But nothing can from it. Not only has she grown up with him, he's eleven years older than her. There's just no way he feels the same.

I actually read this as a novella in the Twisted Christmas anthology; imagine my happiness when I found out we'd get more out of this story! I loved the relationship between Gabrielle and James; their connection goes so deep and is so strong, which is why it made their love all that more believable to me and had me rooting for them so hard. It also helped that despite the age gap between them, Gabrielle is so wise and mature for her age.

The smut, you guys. Whew! This author doesn't hold back with the sexy scenes. This entire book could light you on fire! I loved seeing a new side of Gabrielle when she's officially with James. It's like any form of shyness or awkwardness she might have had goes out of the window. She has James completely wrapped around her finger.

Overall, Always Been You by Q.B. Tyler is a smutty taboo romance that will leave you panting and needing to plunge your face into the freezer.
