To be perfectly honest, the parts that focused on Drizzit were awesome. The parts that focused on the dwarves was less captivating. That may be a me thing but it just felt like Drizzit's parts were more fascinating. 

I loved Drizzit's emotional journey through his grief (and avoidence of it). It was a middle book so... Necessary to the series but...meh.
