Wow. Okay. My heart. Wasn't expecting to cry over this book but I definitely did a few times. Knowing people who suffer with horrible chronic illnesses makes this book feel more real to me.

Definitely read before watching, the story is absolutely heartbreaking. The characters are very cute and some quotes got me squealing🤣. Definitely got me crying a bit, just the storytelling itself is so good!

It reminded me a lot of The Fault in Our Stars mixed with The Sun is Also a Star (which I coincidentally read right before this one), using some cliches for sure but ultimately telling a sweet story that will definitely pull at your heart strings. If you get easily emotionally attached to characters then you're in for a rollercoaster! I've heard there's some debate over whether or not it's an accurate representation of living with cystic fibrosis and I can't tell since I don't have it, so take that with a grain of salt. Overall, I enjoyed reading it, even though certain aspects of the story (including the general plotline) felt a bit overused. That being said, I really enjoyed some of the more philosophical elements of this book such as the characters expressing some of their views about life and death. Those portions were really interesting to me and I found myself contemplating my own views of those topics a bit more. There's more to the story than solely the two main characters thankfully, and I found myself more drawn to the side characters and wanting to delve deeper into those relationships and character arcs, though I understand why the author didn't since there's only so much space in the story without it feeling too sidetracked from the main plot.

this book you guys. i think this is high on my list of "books everyone (even non-readers) should read". this story with its characters who are on borrowed time and are wanting a normal life just took me under a tidal wave basically. if you want your heart stomped on, this book will do it for you. and maybe it will also un-stomp your heart at the end. idk my heart is still feeling stomped on 3.

it was quick paced and a cute little story that really went beyond what my expectations were. i was expecting a tfios similar story, but it was really different from that and a cute cute story. i loved Stella and Will’s story, i loved their interactions together and i loved them! it’s so ironic how i let out the longest breath of air at that last sentence!!!!!! i can’t wait to see the movie this year, i hope it’s a good one! 💜🤧

Thom dragged me reluctantly to the cinema to see the film of Five Feet Apart and I just fell in love with the characters. I learnt some new things, laughed and certainly shed a tear. The book is brilliant, full of emotion and my heart really goes out to them. I knew nothing about cystic fibrosis before I read/watched Five Feet Apart, but it has certainly made me more aware of the condition.

I loved this book so much. It was the perfect amount of humour and the plot was simply sublime. I enjoyed every second of it, and will definitely be re-reading it about 20 more times. My only bone to pick here, however, is the ending. It felt a little abrupt and unsatisfactory to me, but other than that, I absolutely loved this book. 

I don't know how accurate it is at representing people with CF, but my heart goes out to anyone out there suffering from this disease <3

I enjoyed this book. The characters made my heart warm and the story is very touching. I think what turned me off was that a lot of the CFers weee saying it was an inaccurate representation of the disease. I loved the friendships but the romance didn’t do it for me. Like I get they can’t touch, but couldn’t there have been slightly more tension. Maybe more conversations and maybe if WILL DIDNT FREAKING LEAVE HER! I understand that he was still sick and that she was alright now, but did you have to ghost her!? Leave her on a hospital bed crying because she loved you? I don’t know the ending never sat right with me, but I do get it. Overall a 6/10. Didn’t hate it didn’t love it. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I saw that there was a movie and decided I had to read the book before I saw the movie...I'm so glad I did. I loved the movie but the book...it just tore my heart out on a whole other level. Definitely a great book to pick up if you're looking to be reaching for the tissue box!

Just a money-making machine. There`s no real ending, since, I guess, the authors were too afraid to make it tragic. And as a whole, this book is just a bunch of clichés and sweet, tumblr level moments to make teens happy and teary. Nothing even close to TFIOS.
