This was an incredible collection that I couldn’t put down. I read the first three books within two days. It’s character development as individuals and with both platonic and romantic relationships was spot on. With each book I was able to understand each character better and their reasons for behaviours, each character was fully-fledged out and had depth. I hope there will be follow ups for this collection as I have many questions about the future of so many things.
I have never felt so invested in a story or its characters before this series. It has the right balance of action, character development, love, loss, humour and twists and turns which kept my interested throughout all five books. Like many of us Devon Jinx doesn't feel like she fully fits in anywhere with her being half witch and half warlock. Finally finding a home with the Hunted Witch Agency Devon starts learning the true extent of her powers, her existence and the truth of her past. Her team at the agency each have their own growth and back story which makes you fully appreciate each of their friendships and relationship. It turns out to be a group of once broken people becoming whole as a chosen family. Medhurst captured the essence of London incredible which made the descriptive elements feel so authentic. The incredible writing and events of each book allowed our interests to be peaked for new characters which had me continuing Medhurst's books to enjoy the other character stories in the spin offs.
