I read it in one day, staying up until 3 a.m., because I just couldn't put it down. It's thoughtful, introspective and, at times, completely jaw-dropping. 

I thought the focus would be on her ex-husband's addictions & his affair with their sister-in-law (and, it is, of course) but she's also extremely honest & forth-coming about her own short-comings (think co-dependence, willful ignorance and her own obsession with getting him clean & keeping his secrets). 

She walks a delicate line of being honest without being disparaging about her ex-husband and his family. At the same time, you get the feeling that the stories she's telling are just the tip of the iceberg. 

Honestly, I haven't been able to stop thinking about it, which is really the reason that I decided to go ahead & share it! I don't normally read a ton of non-fiction/memoirs but this is my 2nd one this summer & they've both been phenomenal.
