The opening sequence of Netflix's Marco Polo gives a good idea of the ~atmosphere~ for the Eternal Sky series. I liked this book SO MUCH but I would've loved it better if I didn't get occasionally lost with all the namedropping. Seriously, get ready to learn A LOT of names for characters you don't even meet. 

Otherwise, this book took me right back to Kazakhstan *__* I was so worried I wouldn't get into this series, but I am ALL IN.
