Gerry Mulligan's Ark

Gerry Mulligan first made his impact as an arranger with the bands of Elliot Lawrence and Gene Krupa. He then became a founder-member of the Miles Davis nine-piece Birth Of The Cool band of 1948/49 before moving to California and forming his own celebrated pianoless quartet.
