Grandma is growing old disgracefully and with much humour.  I loved her joie de vivre and the differences between her and Evie were stark at first.  Evie was so buttoned up and career driven but once she finally let go of some of those constraints the similarities between them became more pronounced.

The laughs are often and heartfelt.  The characters are relatable and you could easily imagine them plodding all over Santorini.  This is all about grabbing life and sucking every moment of joy out of it.  Slow burn romance - if you're looking for a spicy romance then this is not for you.    It will definitely get you into the mood for sun, summer, sand, and adventures with a smexy Greek!
