Rodgers and Hammerstein Rediscovered

This collection contains songs that were cut from such productions as South Pacific, Oklahoma! and Flower Drum Song. Also contains the first known collaboration by Rodgers and Hammerstein, written for a university varsity show, and the only bona fide Christmas song they ever wrote, "Happy Christmas, Little Friend." Each song is prefaced by notes on its origin.
