This book is a fun and entertaining collection of anecdotes. The anecdotes cover the topics such as (1) successful applications of rules of thumb, (2) how badly people understand probabilities, and (3) how evil corporations abuse this lack of understanding. I personally don't believe that you can prove anything by bringing up a few anecdotal situations, if you don't agree with me or if you just like to read stories like this, you will like this book. On the other hand, if you are comfortable with the terms like "conditional probability" or "Bayesian rule" you will not learn anything about making good decisions from this book. This was the case for me, sorry.
