The Slithering Shadow

This novel features Conan the Cimmerian (the Barbarian) in another rip-roaring adventure. We find him in the desert, scorched by the sun and with a young woman half dying of thirst at his feet. He gives her his water bottle which is almost empty and she, having drunk it all, begs his forgiveness.
