They had never been lovers, though in a manner of speaking they were more intimate than lovers, by which I mean they were intimate in ways that lovemaking only scratches the surface of.

Took me some time to get into the book and the style of writing but once I did, boy did I love it.

In an uncanny way it made me feel like a similar situation was going on in Kenya during the days of Moi.

Thankful for friends that put me onto books I would never have bought on my own.
