So far I’ve read over a dozen of Robin’s books and liked them all. Unfortunately, this one is my least favorite. The story itself deserves three stars because I liked it, but from what I except of the author, it gets two stars. The main/supporting characters were okay. The plot/subplots were okay. As a matter of fact, the main plot was more paranormal hoopla than romance. For all the alcohol, sleepless nights, and screams in the story, I was hoping for more than just a “sugar bear” discovery (trying not to give too much away). I liked to the potential of Taryn and Vicky as cuddle bunnies. However, I wish their relationship had more depth and the sex scenes had more umph. I get the instant click, but their journey was too short. The story gave me a few chuckles here and there. In all, not a bad story to recommend regardless of my 2 star rating.
