I'm glad I read this book as it has been very helpful for me as my wife and I talk about the possibility of adopting. I loved how Moore emphasized the inextricable relationship between physical/legal adoption and our adoption into God's family in salvation. However, Dr. Moore is quite a conservative theologian and I took issue with several of his theological emphases (his complementarianism/hierarchalism, ecclesiology, and especially what I thought was an over-emphasis on hell and penal substitutionary atonement theory). This being said, I am grateful for Moore's ministry and this book.
