This book had an interesting premise but it just didn’t grip my attention the way I wanted it to. 

The pacing often dragged and I found myself setting it aside instead of feeling pulled back in. 

There were some charming touches in the small town setting and a few witty moments but overall it lacked the momentum and spark that would’ve made the mystery more engaging. 

An okay read but not one that stuck with me.
