 The love was a bit rushed to my liking and the characters were a bit lacking.

 It was an easy read and there were a few moments that made me laugh out loud but overall I didn’t love it.

Cadence finds the best version of herself in Ireland and is challenged as a person. She proves that she is more than her privileged upbringing and emotionally loves so fearlessly. Callum gave his life up spiritually to become a priest just before he turned 30. He felt led to be where he was due to his life choices in his twenties, but still had his vices and succumbed to temptations that didn’t truly idealize being a selfless priest. 

Cadence and Callum were magnetic together. Drawn into the “forbidden” pieces of their relationship, they became allies then friends turned lovers. This was an emotionally charged read and I loved everything about this book. It was beautifully written and the steam was a slow burn but off the charts.

I really struggled with this. I liked the concept, i liked the story but i was bored? Like it had the idea to be better and i liked it but i just wasn’t pulled in the way i wanted to be. I wasn’t invested in their story and it fell a little flat for me.

This was really sweet. I was expecting darker/ twisty/ taboo but it was more like Irish countryside rom com vibes with light tension. That being said, it’s great if you’re in the mood for that.
