Sarah Mlynowski is a wonderful writer. I found this book to be very well-written and very easy to understand. However, the main character drove me crazy and is the reason for my 3 star rating. The entire time I was reading the book, I wanted to yell at the main character to grow up and stop revolving her life around men and instead to make herself happy rather than trying to find happiness in others.

Not my favorite Mlynowski book by any means. This being said, this was the first novel she ever wrote so I think that explains a lot. I think her later books have improved since Milkrun. While the book was enjoyable and often humorous, it really never went anywhere. The ending pretty much takes you right back to how everything was in the beginning...which is fine except the journey to get there wasn't really exciting. Still, it was fun and enjoyable and this was her first novel so I am willing to overlook some shortcomings. I am happy to say I enjoy her later novels a lot better.
