i honestly didnt care for this book very much. i would say 299 pages seem to drone on and are very surface level (theres a secret! we're hiding something!), we get a fun twist in the next few pages and then another twist in the last few. because of the way it was done, i felt like i was forcing myself to read the entire book. even with 10 pages left, i didnt feel like finishing it. not a huge pay out in my opinion but u win some u lose some

As an infrequent reader of horror-esq books, I really enjoyed this book. Very intriguing, with an actually surprising twist at the end. Overall, really enjoyed this book and would recommend the Netflix series after reading.
