SenLinYu is a fantastic author and although I'm not a super-fan of Omegaverse fics, I found that this story drew me in and gobbled me up.

This story is sexy and passionate and exciting-- I think it's everything one could want from a story and especially a story about such a firecracker relationship like Dramione.

This fanfic was a palette cleanser for me, but oh did I enjoy it 😅 
I read this fanfic to get me out of my book hangover feelings created by Manacled (my first ever fanfic). I've never read omegaverse before, so in the beginning the dynamics of omegaverse kind of made me feel uncomfortable. I powered through and ended up enjoying it.

This story is very focused on the miscommunication trope, if you don't like that, this might not be your cup of tea.

It baffles me how the same author of Manacled can write something sooo very different.

Omg.. That's all I have to say. This was my intro to the Omegaverse. Usually stuff like this isn't my cup of tea but SenLinYu (one of the best dramione fanfic authors in my opinion) absolutely sold it to me between the raw emotions, intense sex scenes, descriptive story telling, and the audacity to make me squirm and smile so much. This is 588 reasons to read other stories by her. I absolutely loved it and it made me a bigger Draco simp than when I started. BRAVO. 👏🏻

My first-ever Dramione fic, and boy did it not disappoint.

I figured I would dive into this rabbit hole by starting with a concept I know and love: Omegaverse. Hermione presents as an Omega her 8th year at Hogwarts, and Draco, along with several other classmates, had recently presented as an Alpha. Because of Hermione's unexpected Omega status, she's essentially an Alpha magnet and her first heat is coming on quickly. Draco happens to find her right as the heat takes over, and we go from there.

While I normally despise the miscommunication trope, this fic actually utilized it in the (only) good way: when both characters are obsessed with the other but think the other hates them so they try to act all aloof and detached but really they're simping hardcore. This fic was angst city and all of that tension and emotional build-up between Draco and Hermione led to a lot of very hot scenes, and of course lots of knotty goodness.

Highly recommend!
