Hard Drive was a quick and simple read!
Let's set the mood here : this novel is a new adult saphic romance with a little smut and a good enough amount of softball. The nerd and jock trope worked pretty well in this [lesbian romance] context. It was pretty fr'esh and the setup was kind of unexpected *however* everything was a bit cliché in my opinion (and most of the lesbian romances I've read are already very stereotypical...), pretty uneventful and the rythm wasn't as good as I would expect it to be, even for romance (where it can have less impact than let's say an action packed high fantasy novel).
I think the author (and this series) has a lot of potential and there is still room to improve. There was a good rep (I was suprised, in good!) for a quick romance but perhaps what I liked the most was how the main character's anxiety has been portrayed. I think it's been very well handled (dealing with a similar type of anxiety myself), so bravo for that.
Overall a good quick read if you have a few hours to kill but there is still room for improvement.
