The behinning was very nice but it went a bit downhill after that. It was the same song over and over again… if they would just talk to each other like people it would have prevented a lot of boring chapters. Still love the writing style and will read other books because normally I love her books

If you ever need a mafia book to recover from a reading slump, this might be for you! 

(I'm not an expert on how to recover from a non-reading period but I really like books, so believe me)

Dante has always been there for Delilah, no matter what. But somehow along the lines, they draft apart from each other, no connection, no communication and a lot of baggage between the two of them. 

But one day, Delilah needs Dante's help and he won't hesitate to use that opportunity to win her back!

➡️ Even if this is advertised as a "brother's best friend romance", it may be just a really tiny and small part of the book. Because you only have it in your mind like once of twice, so don't fall for that!

What you want to fall for is this ex-american hero who tries to win back the love of his life. And although it may seems heroic, it's the opposite of them, so I could be false advertising you too😊

Either way, I really like the book and the plot. From time to time, I got a bit repetitive with all the trouble they went through to be together, but it made sense. 

This book touches a topic that I haven't read in other books. But it feels real, like the author really matters and you can perceive all the feelings through the character.

🌶 LAST BUT NOT LEAST. Pretty much hot spicy scenes. LIKE FOR REAL SPICY

mixed feelings about this book. 1.5-2 stars
I liked the beginning of the book. Then the plot twists came, the main characters became annoying at points and the "lamb" "lamb" "lamb"- It became repetitive and the plot was overdone.

Not really what I expected. Ik expected more best friends brother instead of them just starting with the connection. Idk more build up maybe. 

But apart from that it was definitely a fun read!

The book was amazing and i loved it from the start, especially the chemistry between delilah and dante, but the epilogue could be better

Wow, this book did not disappoint. I saw someone post about it on TikTok and was reading it 5 minutes later. 

The writing in this book was incredible. It delivered with all the spicy scenes but also wasn’t lacking in depth and plot. 

I loved seeing the relationship between Delilah and Dante, and they were both well written characters. I was heartbroken when we found out about the secret Delilah carried for so long. And how much Dante just wanted to help fix it for her. The push and pull was great and kept me on my seat to figure out what would happen next between them.

This is one of my new favorite books. I like it almost as much as that Lucy score book I’m obsessed with

this book has been recommended over and over again on tiktok and idk why people are going wild for it. there are creepy, animal related pet names (her’s is lamb and his is wolf) and the dude gets the animals tattooed on his chest before the characters are even ever in a real relationship. the pet names and the way they’re used feels predatory and i don’t like it, especially since he literally takes her virginity in chapter one after she’s freshly graduated high school and he’s 22+. there’s also a surprising amount of heavy content regarding mental health and m*sc*rage that i personally don’t think was written well and just felt like a trope-y struggle the main character had to go through. it wasn’t the vibe, please don’t read it

if you do, for whatever reason, plan on reading it, definitely look up trigger warnings bc as i said, it discusses some sensitive topics and i did NOT realize we were going there when i started reading
