El Nuevo libro de esta autora, estaba bastante emocionada por leer un libro más de ella, especialmente porque sería de la mafia, sin embargo, no fue lo que esperaba y no fue de mi agrado.
 

  Personajes principales


Katie es una joven que ha sufrido muchas cosas a lo largo de su vida, es un personaje complicado, en un momento me encanta y en otro es detestable. Después de todo lo que ha vivido ella busca venganza, para eso lograr entrar a la mafia y se encarga de descubrir a los traidores o enemigos, sinceramente me encantó ese aspecto de ella, era tan fuerte. Sin embargo, le encanta tomar decisiones estúpidas así que la mayor parte del tiempo era insufrible. Al igual que Katie, Rome es un personaje muy complicado, no sé cómo sentirme con su carácter, me agradó pero en varias ocasiones era aburrido y, como Katie tomaba decisiones estúpidas. 

Su relación es complicada, dadas las diferentes situaciones que han tenido que pasar ninguno de ellos cree en el amor ni se quiere comprometer, sin embargo, eso no impide que se preocupen el uno por el otro y se protejan. Muchos de sus momentos fueron muy lindos, en otros me estresaban y en otro simplemente todo era perfecto o trágico, no hay un punto medio. Con esto tengo que decir que son una pareja muy toxica y algo que odie fue que hubo un triángulo amoroso (?), es complicado porque no es de lo más importante pero está ahí y no puedo pasarlo por alto. 


  Trama


La trama fue interesante, siento que se desarrolló de buena manera y el ritmo era algo rápido, a su vez, los capítulos no son tan extensos y es fácil leerlos. Personalmente, me gustó mucho el comienzo del libro y como se iba desarrollando la relación entre los personajes, pero debo decir que a partir del 40% me perdió por completo y el libro se volvió tedioso.


  Personajes secundarios


Bastian (el del triángulo amoroso) es el nuevo líder y dada las circunstancias en las que se desarrolla la historia, finge tener una relación con Katie por diversas razones. Aquí es donde entro en conflicto porque quería odiarlo pero es imposible y al final del día quería que terminara con Katie, odio los triángulos amorosos porque nunca terminan con quién quiero, son estúpidos y cualquier libro que lea con un triángulo automáticamente lo odiare, en fin, amo a Bastian es el mejor y punto

Cade, fue entretenido las veces que apareció y me agradó, creo que es mi personaje favorito del libro. Vick y Brey hicieron una aparición como era de esperarse y me encantó, pero a la vez lo odie, yo sé que tienen buenas intenciones pero Katie no es una niña y Vick fue insoportable.
 

  Pensamientos finales


En general, la trama fue buena y tiene personajes que me gustaban de libro anteriores pero por desgracia el libro no fue para mí, aun así los invito a leerlo por si les interesa y que creen sus propias opiniones al respecto.

The new book by this author, I was quite excited to read another book by her, especially because it would be about the mafia, however, it wasn't what I expected and it wasn't up to my liking.
 
  Main characters  

Katie is a young woman who has suffered a lot throughout her life, she's a complicated character, at one point I love her and at another she's detestable. After all she has gone through, she seeks revenge, for that she manages to enter the mafia and is in charge of discovering traitors or enemies, I honestly loved that aspect of her, she was so strong. However, she loves to make stupid decisions so most of the time it was insufferable. Like Katie, Rome is a very complicated character, I don't know how to feel about him, I liked him but on several occasions, he was boring and, like Katie made stupid decisions.

  
    I baited and trapped the men, and he killed them all for the family. 
  

Their relationship is complicated, given the different situations that they have had to go through, none of them believe in love or want to commit, however, that doesn't prevent them from worrying and protecting each other. Many of their moments were very beautiful, in others they stressed me out and in others, everything was just perfect or tragic, there is no middle ground. With this I have to say that they are a very toxic couple and something that I hated was that there was a love triangle (?), It's complicated because it's not the most important but it's there and I cannot ignore it.

  
    We passed one another with hatred and longing in our eyes but acted like strangers in front of everyone. 
  

 Plot 

The plot was interesting, I feel that it developed in a good way and the pace was somewhat fast, in turn, the chapters aren't that long so it's easy to read them. Personally, I really liked the beginning of the book and how the relationship between the characters was developing, but I must say that after 40% it completely lost me and the book became tedious.

  Side characters  

Bastian ( the one in the love triangle ) is the new leader and given the circumstances in which the story unfolds, he pretends to be in a relationship with Katie for various reasons. This is where I enter into conflict because I wanted to hate him but it's impossible and at the end of the day I wanted him to end up with Katie, I hate love triangles because they never end with who I want, they are stupid and any book I read with a triangle I will automatically hate it, anyway, I love Bastian he's the best, period.

Cade, was entertaining the times he appeared and I liked him, I think he's my favorite character in the book. Vick and Brey made an appearance as expected and I loved it, but at the same time I hated it, I know they mean well but Katie is not a little girl and Vick was being too annoying. 

  Final thoughts  

In general, the plot was good and it has characters that I liked from previous books, but unfortunately, the book wasn't for me, so I invite you to read it in case you are interested and create your own opinions about it.
