sobbed through most of this book. obviously a poetry collection can be moving without being Good—but this is both. maybe i’m just a sucker for a divorce narrative.

Incredibly vulnerable, beautiful, and powerful. Olds explores the many facets of divorce in a compassionate, raw way. Heavy but freeing. No matter the circumstance of a divorce, I expect these words are relatable to many.
