I loved the perspective that the story was told in and that most of the important parts of the story were left up to the readers to get through context clues. The art was also charming, I enjoyed it. 

It works well for a one shot, but if this was a series I’d probably not continue reading it.

toda história sobre uma jovem adulta tentando encarar a vida me deixa com lágrimas no rosto. e toda história com um gatinho que é companheiro de verdade também me deixa com lágrimas no rosto.

a única história do Shinkai que havia consumindo foi Your Name e acho que não fez o impacto em mim que nem fez no resto do mundo. nessa aqui ele me acertou em cheio. e as artes do Yamaguchi então? sempre tão nuas e cruas. um mix perfeito!

me emocionei demais, me identifiquei demais. fiquei tão feliz quando o Chobi apareceu. acho que na hora eu tava segurando a respiração. lindíssima a história!

2/5 stars. Sweet little slice of life story about a cat’s love for their owner as they watch them in some of their lowest points in life. It’s an interesting concept, with beautiful artwork and some quotes and concepts that are right on point. However, if it was a series I wouldn’t read more of it, as there isn’t all that much that happens, and it somewhat feels like it’s really written like it’s a male’s perspective of a single woman living at home. For a one volume short story, however, it’s definitely worth picking up and a rather enjoyable read!
