Writing South East/Asia in English

This work provides an analysis of the origins and diverse concerns of South-East Asian writing in English. As well as looking at the work of Timothy Mo, Zulfikar Ghose and Kamala Das, the author examines the relationship of identity, text and nation, and considers how post-colonial writing has absorbed and redefined Western literary traditions.
