This collections of shorts just make me love JK even more. Minerva and Remus get wonderful little sketches of their lives growing up and all the heartbreak and wonder involved. I would love full blown books of both of these characters, however, I adore this little slice we are given. These collections from Pottermore an Jk are truly a lovely gift.

Remus Lupin remains one of my favourite characters in this series. I nearly teared up reading his chapter in this even though I had previously read it on Pottermore. 
I admire McGonagall so much, love that lady!

I don't really like reading on the pottermore website because it's a little to chaotic for me, but the few stories bundled in this ebook were nice!

I especially liked reading a bit more about McGonagall & Lupin since I already loved them very much in the main series.

This is the best book in the trilogy. It has engrossing facts about the characters mentioned and, while still a little heavy handed on Rowling's opinions and writing lrocess, but they're interesting and provide more depth on the characters. It was a lot like the original Beasts and Quidditch books that came out in Harry Potter's prime.

Krátké a doplňující příběhy ke světu Harryho Pottera. Příběhy ze života spousty skvělých postav. Můžu jen souhlasit s J. K. Rowlingovou, že Remus Lupin je skvěle vytvořená postava a jeho příběh je fascinující. Tolik si toho prožil a dokázal toho hodně a tak i profesorka Mcgonagalová. Skvělá učitelka na přeměňování. Jsem ráda, že tyhle pokračování jsou vydávané dál. Aspoň se dovídáme další příběhy postav z Harryho Pottera.

This was pretty flat and dry. I started reading it a month ago and completely forgot about it, just because there's nothing new or interesting about it, no offense. I was so excited when I first heard about the ebooks; a Remus Lupin story? Yes Please. Except it didn't actually tell me anything that wasn't on Pottermore or in interviews already, only some details about things like the married life of Remus's parents.

I loved the information we got on McGonagall and the other characters, but I basically just ended up skim-reading like 60% of the book. It was kind of empty and I felt as if something was missing. JKR included extra bits like a chapter about Lycanthropy etc, which was fun to read, but still, I just couldn't bring myself to be interested. 

I think JKR is quite aware of what The People would like to see (marauders era, James and Lily, Frank and Alice, Remus and Sirius, pranks in Hogwarts, Hagrid's story, etc), but she still releases ebooks with chapters dedicated to Silvanus Kettleburn, for example, who I'm pretty sure no one was dying to read about. 

I don't regret reading this, and I'm still giving it 3 stars because it's Harry Potter, but. Come on.
