Over a period of 20 years, Milan-based artist Silvio Wolf has encountered and photographed places that lie somewhere between the east and the west, the city and the desert, conflicting conceptions of space, void, presence and absence. His pictures, devoid of human beings, present the symbolic representations of their ritual spaces, journeys and frameworks.
