how can someone put up with up Axl for that much time? Geez.. Slash opens up so deeply about his addictions, gives incredibly thorough details on the tours, the song writing, the pre-during-post GN’R, it’s a delight to read those 600+ pages!

Like any other memoir, Slash's tells the story of his life from childhood till 2007 when this book was published. This man has lived a wild life, what else would you expect from the guitarist of Guns N' Roses (my favorite band)? 
This book was very descriptive and could paint a picture in my head. I enjoyed that there were pictures throughout the chapters instead of just having them in the middle. My one complaint is the set up, some chapters were 50+ pages long, and it seemed to be very tedious. Four out of five stars for me!
