A locked room mystery or rather a locked island mystery where a woman is stuck with her stalker and she doesn't know whom to trust. Great premise but as the case is with this genre, it rarely lives up to the hype. It's a good book, in theory but the writing falls flat. 

Anna is not a very relatable character. I know she is scared but it seems like she doesn't seem to have any other personality traits other than that. In fact all characters are one dimensional. I understand that these people shouldn't exactly be open books but other than 1-2 people they were just cardboard cutouts of human beings.

Not really looking forward to anymore of Taylor's works.

I thought this was a decent book. I didn't see the ending comes at all which is always something I look for in a mystery/thriller. For me this one isn't as good as some other C.L. Taylor books I've read. It didn't capture my attention for the first half but it did in the second.
