Though it took me a little longer to read than these sort of books normally do, I really enjoyed this story. I think it was written in the wrong time period as the language does not quite fit in for when it was supposed to be taking place. But the story was good, in my opinion. I think it wove together a classic fairy tale, Snow White, and was able to make it make sense in a more modern time (though this took place in the late 1800s). The characters were likable, though a little annoying at times. I look forward to the next book which features the story of Cinderella.
