So far out of all the Faraway books this one is my favorite. You do have to keep up with all the twist and turns to the story but that is what makes it fun. It was a short murder mystery. I listened to the audiobook. You get different voices for each of the characters and it helps keep the story straight.

I think this one is my favorite out of all the five stories. I really hope that there is something else after this since the ending was such a cliffhanger

Okay so, positive things first... that twist at the end was good. Not the inital one but the one after (trying not to give spoilers). However...

This story REEKS of toxic masculinity, to the point of being disgusting. Rating women on their looks and using them to boost your status and the amount of times girls were referred to as ‘wench’? Revolting. I know people will feel differently on the use of the word ‘wench’ but it this story it felt gross and uncomplimentary to say the least. This was addressed a couple of times so at least the author was self aware but nothing changed.
